Boho Inspired Hairstyles
Photographs? I know about photographs. I rock photographs.
Hairstyles? Ummm... Maybe this is an area we should leave to the professionals.
Make up? Yeah... Not my area of expertise either.
Wedding planning is stressful enough.... and I'm not against using a hairstyle inspiration photo from Pinterest... But when you choose a seasoned hair and make up artist for your big day, this is definately an area where your stylist can take the lead!
I recently partnered with some amazingly talented wedding vendors for a Boho inspired shoot. Our boho styled shoot really gives a nod to the 2016 trend of the "Undone Hair" with matching floral design.
These boho hairstyles are all about loose, wispy curls, and floral accents. Not sure about wearing a veil? If a floral crown looks gorgeous, but maybe isn't 100% your style? These styles are the perfect alternatives that still keep the boho vibe.
Tayler - Styled by Victoria - I styled Tayler with elegant, avant-garde - for a fancy wow! Feathers are trending for the 2016 season. Gold tones highlighted by shimmering accents stay with a bold vibe for a dark, dramatic, and classic look.
Heather - Styled by Caroline - The “Undone Bride” is big this year. For Heather’s hairstyle, I used veiling and halo of wispy hair. This natural look is what you want to see in images. The flowers in her hair is a great to add a floral wreath with out it being too much. It’s also a great alternative to wearing a traditional veil. Her makeup is seated in taupe and champagne. Light contouring and bold brows are the statements for this season.
Laura - Styled by Victoria - We were thinking “alternative” bride. Someone who’s relaxed with a colorful , creative bride. We wanted soft hair with . Even with a fancy dress, we wanted a flawy relaxed feel - and that’s where the flowers add a WOW effect.
Sara - Styled by Cassie and Caroline - We used Sara's natural texture to create a beachy Grecian look. Her hair was wrapped around a styling ride to create a more natural curl pattern. Perfect for the undone bride. Makeup was focused in golds and bronzes to tie into the gold crown. The jewelry worn was provided by Mint Salon.
